神棚

ライプツィヒ「日本の家」に、神棚（神道デコレーション）を作った。
あり合わせのもので神道風に作ったので、形式はどんどん変わって欲しい。

友達は「日本の家では、国も宗教も関係なく、一人の人としていれる。」と言った。
しかし、文化も背景も違う人たちが同じ場にいると、悪意がなくても衝突が起きてしまう。
そんな日本の家に、よくわからないけど大切にされていそうな雰囲気のある場所。
形のある「宗教」ではなくて、形の定まらない目に見えないものへの祈り。
何か起きたときに、深呼吸するための場所として作った。

海外で何か寂しいと感じるとき、自然環境や人間関係、食事事情だけが要因ではないと思う。
自然や町や家の中、トイレにまで神様がいる国の雰囲気のかけら。
これを見て、なんとなく落ち着く人もいるかもしれない。
その雰囲気が日本の家を作るのではないかと思う。

Ich hatte ernste Melancholie.
